On June 5, a press conference and presentation concert of the 10th Portofino International Opera Competition was held at Palazzo Borromeo d'Adda in Milan. The event featured performances by soprano Flavia Striguer, runner-up for CLIP 2023, and pianist Inessa Filistovich.
Speaking at the press conference was Dr. Francesco Micheli, representing the Paganini Prize Committee, who stressed the value of the renewed collaboration between the two competitions.
 "Very positive synergy between Clip, Bottesini and Paganini Prize, which with President Panebianco has had a strong international relaunch. Concerts also at the Louvre and the Prado, in London with Pappano and the London Sypmphony, in New York with the Carlo Felice, all the way to Oman, with the new Artistic Director, Nicola Bruzzo, and especially under the aegis of Uto Ughi at the head of the Jury", commented Francesco Micheli
