Born in St. Petersburg, where he has studied at the "Rimsky-Korsakov" Conservatory with Pavel Popov since 1996. He had Helmut Zehetmair and Stefan Picard as masterclass teachers.

He has participated in several competitions for young talents and in 2003 won 3rd prize at the "International Paganini Competition" in Moscow. He has given concerts and recitals in France, England and Russia.

As an unranked contestant, he received the sum of €1,500.00 from the City of Genoa; he also received the special prize of €3,000.00 in memory of Renato De Barbieri, offered by the Province of Genoa for the best interpretation of Paganini's Capricci and the special prize of €1,000.00 offered by the association "Amici Carlo Felice and the Conservatorio N. Paganini" for the best interpretation of the commissioned piece "Le Consonanze" by Fabio Vacchi.
