He was pupil of Georges Enescu, his concert career began after having received prizes at different International Violin Competition such as: Vieuxtemps (Verviers, Belgium), Kreisler (Vienna), CIEM (Geneva). In 1955 he was awarded at the International Violin Competition Queen Elisabeth (Brussels). He made concert tours through Europe and America.
He was a distinguished professor at the "Conservatoire Royal" of Brussels and at the "Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth".
