Yukiko Uno is a laureate at the Queen Elisabeth Competition, first prize winner of the Andrea Postacchini Competition, and Chengdu Guangya Violin Competition. She completed her BA at the Mozarteum University Salzburg with Prof. Pierre Amoyal and her MA Soloist degree at the Musik Akademie Basel with Prof. Rainer Schmidt. Currently, she is studying for the Meisterklassenexamen degree at the University of Music and Theatre Leipzig with Carolin Widmann. She is a member of the Japan National Orchestra and a temporary contract player at the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig
