During the meeting held on Friday, April 19, the President of Premio Paganini, Giovanni Panebianco, communicated to the Committee that he had renewed the invitation to Maestro Salvatore Accardo to preside over the International Jury of the Competition. The President noted that informal discussions had taken place with Maestro Salvatore Accardo to encourage the participation of top-level jurors and therefore stimulate the participation of the largest number of candidates in the next edition of the Competition.

The Committee also agreed on the President’s proposal to appoint Maestro Nicola Bruzzo, a young and appreciated violinist who plays with numerous international orchestras, as the new Artistic Director.

Maestro Nicola Bruzzo will succeed Nazzareno Carusi, to whom the Committee expressed its thanks for the work carried out during his time as Artistic Director.
