Tianren Xie, graduated from Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon(Cnsmd) with a Master of Music, under the tutelage of violinists Marianne Piketty, Marc Danel, Laurence Ketels, Manuel Solans and Jennifer Gilbert; he also graduated from Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, China, with a Bachelor of Music, studied under Chaoyang Lin, a renowned violinist in China. During his course of study, he was honored of the Outstanding Student Award and has been supported by EDIFIER Music Player Fundation.

He has won several international prizes, including the 1st prize in the 5th International Violin Competition Marie Cantagrill (2017), the 4th prize in the Lipizer Competition (2019), with two special prizes: Elena Lipizer and Best performance of Paganini Caprice etc.

In June 2021, he was invited to participate in the master classes of Pavel Vernikov and Gerhard Shulz at the Kronberg Academy in Germany.
