He started playing the violin at the age of 5. He won  the 1st place at the 72nd Student Music Concours of Japan in Tokyo Conference and the 2nd place at the national conference. He won 3rd place in the 90th Music Competition of Japan. He is a semi-finalist of the 17th Seoul International Music Competition, and he has won higher ranking in various competitions both in Japan and overseas. He is currently performing on the “Muntz” Guarneri del Gesú 1736, on generous loan from the Nippon Music Foundation.
