After our pre-selections’s weeks, we would like to thank our young pianist Luna Costantini, to whom all the Jurors of the five international Commissions in Guangzhou, New York, Prague, Tokyo and Genoa gave a true and high praise.
Born in Avezzano (Italy), twenty-three years old, she began her studies at five. In may 2011, at the age of 11, she was selected among the best students of the Italian Music Conservatories to perform during the tv programme 'Pillole di classica' on Canale 5 (Mediaset). At 16, she graduated summa cum laude at ‘Casella’ Music Conservatory in L’Aquila and she was admitted to the International Piano Academy "Incontri col Maestro" in Imola, where she was the youngest student to obtain the final Diploma (under the guidance of Roberto Giordano) and the Chamber Music Diploma (under the guidance of Nazzareno Carusi).
Winner of several national and international prizes, she gave concerts also for "La Società dei Concerti" in Milan, the "Teatro Coccia" in Novara, the "Primo Riccitelli" Society in Teramo, the "Maggio della Musica" in Naples, the "Musica con le Ali" Cultural Association, the "Teatro Alighieri" in Ravenna, the "Yamaha Piano Festival", the "Mario Ghislandi" International Piano Festival, the "Accademia Musicale Pescarese", Piano City in Milan, the A.GI.MUS in Bologna, the "Soroptimist International", the "Istituzione Musicale Abruzzese", the Italian Cultural Institute in Budapest, the Monfalcone Theatre and the Rimini Meeting. She has recorded for Rai 5 (RAI - Italian National Broadcasting Corporation).
