Maria Grazia Bellocchio
A Milan Conservatory piano graduate and teacher at Bergamo’s G. Donizetti Conservatory, she plays for Italian and foreign concert institutions and holds piano and chamber music masterclasses. A chamber musician, she has played with the likes of Accardo, Filippini, Giuranna and Petracchi. Her repertoire ranges from Bach to her contemporaries. For the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy, she created “Viaggio in Italia”, a collection of 20 Italian folk songs transcribed by 20 composers. She collaborates with Divertimento Ensemble, participates in the most important festivals, and since 2012 has been engaged with European platform Ulysses. She has recorded works by Maderna, Gorli, Donatoni, Gervasoni, Gardella, Bulfon, Momi, Ambrosini, Fedele and Kurtág for Ricordi and Stradivarius.
Monica Cattarossi
A chamber musician, she has performed with prestigious artists such as Julius Berger, Enrico Dindo, Antonio Meneses, Dora Schwarzberg and Jing Zhao amongst others. She teaches chamber music at Milan’s Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory and piano accompaniment at the Conservatory of Italian Switzerland. She has collaborated with Mozarteum University Salzburg, Siena’s Chigiana Academy and Cremona’s Stauffer Center for Strings, and is in the Chigiana Keyboard Ensemble. She has recorded for the label Brilliant Classics and Suonare News, and is a graduate in Musicology.
Valentina Messa
Graduating with honours and special mention from the examining board, she trained with maestros Rattalino, Arcuri, Masi and Pace. She has been honoured at the Premio Venezia, and Pordenone’s Gante and Milan’s Humanitarian Society competitions. Pianist with the Eutopia Ensemble, she collaborates with Carlo Boccadoro’s Sentieri Selvaggi. She has worked with Borrani, Damerini, Agosti, Abeshi, Rebaudengo, Ben Omar, Crocilla, Pinzaru, Dami Kim, Milstein, In Mo Yang, Menzel and Kevin Zhu. Former collaborating pianist with the Genoa Conservatory, the Academy of Santa Cecilia and the Pinerolo Academy, she is the main piano teacher at Cuneo’s Ghedini Conservatory.
