The ceremony awarding His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco the honorary title of “Paganini Ambassador” took place on Monday 26 June 2023 in Palazzo Tursi’s reception hall. Performances of the national anthems of Italy and Monaco were followed by speeches from Mayor Marco Bucci, the President of the Region of Liguria, Giovanni Toti, and Paganini Competition Chairperson, Giovanni Panebianco.

Prince Albert II went on to visit the Paganini halls, pausing before Niccolò Paganini’s Cannone, and taking time to sign the Competition’s Book of Distinguished Visitors.
