Pamela Frank

Pamela Frank is an internationally renowned violinist, celebrated for her versatile career. She has performed with leading orchestras such as the New York Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony, Academy of St. Martin in the Fields, Berlin Philharmonic, and Zurich Tonhalle, with which she recorded Mozart's Violin Concertos conducted by David Zinman. With her father, Claude Frank, she recorded Beethoven sonatas and Schubert works. A sought-after chamber musician, she has appeared at festivals like Aldeburgh, Verbier, Salzburg, and Marlboro.
Pamela has also performed and recorded contemporary works and received the Avery Fisher Prize in 1999. A professor at the Curtis Institute, she teaches masterclasses at Tanglewood, Ravinia, and Verbier. From 2008 to 2024, she led the Evnin Rising Stars program. Her latest project, Fit as a Fiddle Inc., focuses on injury prevention and treatment for musicians.
